After a bit of an break from photography (while recovering from being run over by a truck...long story), we decided to head over to the gardens and see who and/or what might be hanging around. Oddly enough, it was actually pretty quiet with very few bugs and bees and absolutely no easily found spiders! We did manage to finally locate a rather nice gathering of lady bugs (including the lovely couple captured here). Of special note is the aphid included in this group of images...he (or she, more correctly) is about 1/3 the size of the ant from this day's shoot! Quite the tiny little beastie!
